“RUN”—composed, arranged, produced and mixed by Lia Wu, who also wrote its lyrics—blends dark, cinematic alternative pop with elements of indie rock. Built around piano and guitar and shaped by atmospheric textures, sound design, and visceral low end, it turns hidden emotion and inner conflict into something intimate, haunting, and physically felt. The accompanying music video, directed and edited by Lia Wu, carries that psychological tension into a visual movement from escape toward acceptance. “RUN” opens the first chapter of Lia Wu’s new audiovisual world and begins the release sequence leading to her album 幽 (pronounced “you”), out 9 April 2027.
